The Fields Church is in the middle of a transformation partnership with the town of San Jeronimo, Honduras, called The 1814 Project. You can read all about it here.

As part of the partnership, I’m leading a team of 10 to the town this June 11-18, 2010.
There is a small village outside of San Jeronimo called Ireland.
300 men, women and children live in Ireland where they have no electricity and no running water (let alone clean water.)

On Saturday, June 12 we are feeding the entire village and providing clothing to all of the children. While we are there, we are playing with the kids and continuing our relationship with them. Also we are establishing relationships with the adults and talking about long term plans of what would help their village; whether that would be the essentials of electricity and water, a community garden, or creating jobs.

I’m inviting you with an opportunity to be a part of this transformation. I want to take you, your organization, your band, your church, your sports team, your school with me to Ireland.

I will be in Honduras for 8 days; so I have 8 slots open for partnerships.
Each partner will sponsor one day, where I’ll wear the shirt of that partner.

Here how it works:

Step 1
Become a partner. Sign up here.

Step 2
Email me your logo. – It will be used in the blog post about you.

Mail me your shirt.
(Size medium. T-shirts are good. V-necks are better. One polo is needed for Sunday)

Evan Courtney
900 DeWitt Ave E
Mattoon, IL 61938

Step 3 – Your Day
What to expect on your day.

First thing in the morning I’ll put your shirt on.
Through out the day, I’ll post pics and/or videos of me on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Vimeo, YouTube
Featured blog post about your organization, band, church, sports team, school. Links to your site, Facebook, Twitter, ect.
Blog post about what we accomplished that day, with pics and/or video of me in your shirt.

Questions? Email me.

Choluteca is a city of 100,00 people.
Honduras is considered in the top 5 poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere, so there is a tremendous need there. In years past, The Rock has taken shoes there and have literally given away hundreds of pairs to people who can’t afford to buy their own.

All of the supplies have already been donated, but now the shoes and supplies need to get to Honduras. It will cost the team a little over $500 to take all of the suitcases full of shoes and school supplies to the children.

I’m trying to raise $500 for them in just 3 days.
Spread the word.

All it will take for you to be a part is $2 and 30 seconds of your time.

The Facts.
