Yesterday morning some leadership from The Fields Church attended a community leadership breakfast at EIU.
The speaker was Dr. Will Miller, a Cultural and Media Commentator and Comedian from Indiana.

He talked about the need to have multiple relationships in your life.
To have brothers, sisters, moms, dad, uncles, aunts, grandparents.
That each of these were essential to our lives.

He has authored a booked called “Refrigerator Rights: Creating Connections and Restoring Relationships”.
This important book explores the metaphorical message that “refrigerator rights” stands for the kind of closeness we have with people in our lives-friends, family and spouses.

I used to go to a friend of mine’s Dave’s house.
Each time I came over he’d say, “If you can’t find it, we don’t have it.”
Now thats refrigerator rights!
