Last week my MacCase Backpack busted at the zipper.
I thought I was out of luck, because I’ve had the bag for over 18 months.
I looked online and saw that they had a Lifetime Warranty on all MacCase products.
I snapped a couple photos of my broken zipper and emailed to MacCase with my mailing address, and within 4 days, I had a new bag.
I had to pay nothing.

They have a free 30 day trial.
I just started the trial last week.
Now get out there and start spamming connecting. $10-$40 depending on database size.

My Apple Photo Service Experience

For Christmas I gave my mom a 2009 photo calendar that I designed in iPhoto and printed thru Apple’s Photo Services.

Apple had posted on their site, that if you ordered calendars and books by a certain date, you’d receive your order by Christmas.
I was in.

I even ordered a couple photo books for my brothers.

The calendar made it by Christmas, the photo books did not.
Late night on Christmas Eve I emailed Apple in regards to my package not arriving.
I woke up with this in my inbox today.

Dear Evan,
I’m very sorry that your order did not arrive by the time you were quoted. I know how important it was to receive the order when you expected.

I have issued a refund for your order.

Laptops. Now and Then.

In the past forty years, the innovation in computers has been amazing.
Makes me wonder where we will be in the next forty.
My first laptop was a in 2000.
It was a big clunky Toshiba.
But at the time I didn’t know it was bulky.
Other laptops I’ve owned or currently own.
MacBook Pro, iBook G4, iBook G3.

I joined in September 2005 with an iBook G4 14″ which I still use today.
Since then I’ve had a MacBook Pro (and sold) and Katie has an iBook G3 12″.

Bonjour.
It’s an instant network.
I love how whatever network I’m on, when I log into the Bonjour instant messenger, it automatically shows everyone else that is logged onto the network & Bonjour instant messenger.
No adding of people.
It just shows people.

While I was at The Orange Conference, because of Bonjour, I was able to have a short conversation with Steve Fee.
