Ed Dobson was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease in 2001. And when he was told he was dying he felt like he was in a dark, damp place.
When you visit Lazarus’ tomb today, it’s a dark and damp place. And that’s what it felt like when I was diagnosed.

How do you climb out of that dark, damp place?
There are no guarantees of tomorrow.
We live every single day for the glory of God and the fullest.

Since Ed was dying he made a list of people he had offended and called them to apologize.
When Ed resigned from his church in Grand Rapids, de had to walk away from what he “loved” to do what God had called him to do.
God showed up in the worst moment of his life.

He lived a year the best he could like Jesus.
He grew out his beard.
He ate kosher.
Visited the synagogues.

Ed is in the middle of shooting videos for his book Prayers and Promises called “Consider the Birds.”
