I’m totally pumped to announce that Anne Jackson is coming to speak at The Fields Church on October 17.
Anne Jackson (blog) who is an author, speaker, and social change activist is coming to speak as part of her book tour for her new release “Permission To Speak Freely.”
Permission to Speak Freely is a unique collaboration her essays and poetry, along with artistic renderings of confessions – photos, drawings, postcards, and letters. It is a four-color book throughout, beautiful from the design to the way it feels as one thumbs through it.
The project began in May 2008 when Jackson posed a question on her blog: “What is the one thing you feel you can’t say in the church?” The response was immediate and heartfelt. More than 500 comments poured in with confessions about addiction and adultery, admissions of loneliness and lost faith, and much more.

Anne will be joined with Actress Susan Isaacs and Artist Sloveig Leithaug for this tour filled with Life, Love and the Secrets Women Keep.
Tickets are limited for the event. Buy tickets here.
A little bit about Anne and her story.
Be sure to check out Anne’s great blog where she talks openly and honestly about her life and travels. Personally one of the most inspiring posts of Anne’s is “The Sex Cafe”, where she writes about her experience at a sex trafficking cafe in Moldova.
