Transformation in San Jeronimo

A team from The Fields Church is in Honduras this week.
It is a continueing relationship we have with a community there, called San Jeronimo; called The 1814 Project.

The team has been restoring the bathrooms at their elementary school.
Fixing toilets, getting them operational again.
Repairing the bathroom roof.
Fixing playground equipment.

Also, we are helping one of their neighborhoods that has no electricity or running water, called Ireland.

San Jeronimo, Honduras

Ireland (a couple hundred refugees from Hurricane Mitch live there.)
Today they are passing out meals.
Talking with families, about future projects.
And as always, playing with the kids.

It’s been great to see the photos the team has been taking.
Also great to see some of the same students/kids/adults working with us again.
Including my friend Luis.
