In January, a mission team from The Rock church at the University of Missouri will be taking 14 suitcases of donated shoes and school supplies to children in Choluteca, Honduras.
Choluteca is a city of 100,00 people.
Honduras is considered in the top 5 poorest countries in the Western Hemisphere, so there is a tremendous need there. In years past, The Rock has taken shoes there and have literally given away hundreds of pairs to people who can’t afford to buy their own.
All of the supplies have already been donated, but now the shoes and supplies need to get to Honduras. It will cost the team a little over $500 to take all of the suitcases full of shoes and school supplies to the children.
I’m trying to raise $500 for them in just 3 days.
Spread the word.
All it will take for you to be a part is $2 and 30 seconds of your time.
