Goodbye San Jeronimo

Today was our last day in San Jeronimo. We spent the day in the elementary school, doing book of hope distribution, building soccer goals and painting desk. Then in the evening we showed the Honduras/El Salvador soccer game on a projector screen in a park, were over 500 showed up.

Ireland

Key to the City

We kicked off the day with teaching on leadership at the local church, while another group taught the kids. Then at night, we kicked off the Project Hope with a huge celebration. The Fields Church and Travis were given the key to the city of San Jeronimo.

Market Day

Today was our first day in San Jeronimo. We kicked it off with a market day. San Jeronimo is 20 minutes from any business, so we helped them realize that they could buy and sell goods right there in their community. Fireworks in San Jeronimo from Evan Courtney on Vimeo.

Travel Day In & To Honduras

Long day of travel, starting out driving to ChicagoThursday night, and arriving to our hotel in Comayagua, Honduras on Friday afternoon. I’m running on fumes. And I got high/sick from the fumes from the 2 hours van ride from the capital city Tegucigalpa to Comayagua. The1814Project
