Laptops. Now and Then.

In the past forty years, the innovation in computers has been amazing.
Makes me wonder where we will be in the next forty.
My first laptop was a in 2000.
It was a big clunky Toshiba.
But at the time I didn’t know it was bulky.
Other laptops I’ve owned or currently own.
MacBook Pro, iBook  G4, iBook G3.

What laptops have you own(ed)?

I had an IBM Thinkpad back in college (’99), then upgraded to a Dell Inspiron in 2001. Then, in 2002, my wife and I bought an iBook G3. We skimped on RAM big time so it was always a bit slow. Then, 2 years ago, I got my Toshiba Satellite. It’s been through a lot in the last two years. It’s definitely on its way out, but has served me well. I’d like to go back to Apple this next year….but we’ll have to wait and see. Maybe if they came out with a ValueMac. You know, the poor man’s mac. ;) lol
