Guess it’s not good to be an older brother?
I thought it was usually the younger brother who threw fits. The bratty spoiled one.
Can you tell I’m the older sibling? I can thoroughly relate to how the older brother felt.
Honestly I think the older brother gets a bum rap. Oh to be sure he could/should have been more like his father but he had some feelings that were hurt and validly so. I think there is a lesson in that story for fathers as well. The older son felt unappreciated and that may very well have come from poor communication on the father’s part.
