Last month, I challenged blog readers, twitter followers and facebook friends to help give shoes for Christmas, for those in Honduras.
Your response was incredible.
We raised over $130 in a week to send shoes to those who don’t have shoes.
The team just got back, and here is a thank you from my brother.

Thank you for your donation to help our mission team from The Rock take shoes and school supplies to people in Honduras in January.

As we visited several of the poorer neighborhoods in Choluteca, Honduras, we found many people without adequate shoes and also many children who go to school but don’t have the basic supplies that will help them in their education.

With your help, we were able to hand out hundreds of shoes and 50 big bags of school supplies. We received many thanks from the people there, and we pass them onto you as well. Thank you for following the words of Jesus.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for your selves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. – Matthew 6:19-21
